We are delighted to continue our long tradition of celebrating Valentine’s Day at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College on Sunday, Feb. 13 (3pm)! For our ninth annual concert of classic love songs from the Swing Era and the Great American Songbook, we bring you an entertaining all new show called LOVE NOTES: A Swingtime Big Band Valentine. The music & lyrics of the Great American Songbook tell love stories in uniquely meaningful ways, and it’s our great pleasure to bring these romantic tales to life! You’ll hear hits from such iconic bands as Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Les Brown, Jimmie Lunceford, Ray Anthony and Buddy Rich, plus 100th birthday tributes to legendary vocalists Doris Day and Judy Garland, along with renowned composer/arrangers Ernie Wilkins and Neal Hefti (who famously collaborated with Frank Sinatra). Tickets are on sale now, and this is always one of our most popular shows of the year, so you and your sweetheart won’t want to miss this one! And, as always, we are very happy to offer friends and fans of Swingtime a special 10% discount on tickets for our Feb. 13 concert! Just use the code word LUVNOTES when you buy your tickets online or at the box office (516-323-4444)
